Safety is a top priority for Tekton. We know that for a safety program to be successful, it must be integral to a company’s culture. Our company leadership has set the tone by sparing no expense when it comes to the right equipment, protocols, and training. Equipment

Under the direction of Glen Kuntz, we discarded the old, traditional scaffolding methods and invested in a wall-hung scaffolding system that enables our framers to move around with greater safety and freedom. The results have been tremendous. This system is safer for our crew, and they appreciate not having to bend over the “top plate” with a nail gun. Because of this investment, we have increased productivity, improved the quality of our work, and earned an unrivaled reputation for safety.

Training

We hold regular safety events, both onsite and off, that involve our entire team. These events are critical to promoting our culture of safety. During these events, our supervisors learn the hazards associated with a job, their potential effects on the crew, and their role in ensuring that employees follow the rules, procedures, and protocol. The events also allow our entire team to continually familiarize themselves with safe work procedures, personal protective equipment, and the latest regulations.
